Risk warning
CFDs are complex instruments. 74–89% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs.
About Course
Module 5 covers the non-FX instruments retail traders use most: gold, index CFDs and energy. Sources are the FCA and ESMA (CFD rules), the World Gold Council and the LBMA (gold), the U.S. Energy Information Administration (oil), and the CFTC (futures terms and the April 2020 oil event). Contract sizes differ between brokers, so every calculation tells you to check your broker’s specification first.
Level: Beginner–Intermediate · Before this: Modules 2–3.
